About me

My passon for the kitchen

I’m Maria Rosaria De Luca, and I work as an accountant in the province of Arezzo, where I live.

I’m of Neapolitan origins, I’ve got three wonderful daughters, a lot of cats and many friends.

I’ve been a food blogger since 2013 and my blog is enriched everyday with new recipes.

They all are prepared by me with the awareness of the quality of the products I use.

My aim is to transmit to those who follow me how important is to choose the products to use to prepare our dishes.

I adore to have my hands in the dough, literally! From freshly baked bread to homemade pasta, this is a passion I’ve always had. When I was a little girl I used to prepare the so-called “pretisfatti” with my grandmother: tasty pies made with few kitchen tools: forks and wooden spoons.

My skills and certificates

I’ve worked in some restaurants in my area so I’ve got the HACCP license in 2012 and renovated it in 2023.

I’ve got an attendance certificate for attending bakery classes and making small sweet and salty pastry at the “Accademia del gusto” in Arezzo.

I also attended the online course “Sale, pepe & sicurezza” (Salt, pepper and safety) held by  the “Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie”

I’m one of the world recipe Expo Milano contributors 2015

I’m AIFB (Associazione Italiana Food bloggers) patner, and with them I attend classes about photography, web competencies, blog tour, food trotter and many of my articles are on the association website.

I also attended the “Blog in rete” course held by Giulia Bezzi AD di SeoSpirito Società Benefit Srl to increase my expertise about the web.

What they say about me

My friends describe me as a nice and fun person, cheerful and always smiling who doesn’t get discouraged by the hardships of life.

This is true and it’s because of this that I challenged myself at this age with the blog.

I study many things and I always keep myself updated in the attempt of giving my best in all that I write and I make, without being influenced from what happens in my life.

My relationship with cameras

I adore to take part to TV shows where I make some recipes. I’m not afraid of streaming programmes, actually, they make me more confident!

My first television appearence was in 2006 in the show “La prova del Cuoco” where I met Antonella Clerici, who autographed my book.

I also met Anna Moroni, not just that time but also another time at a cooking competition.

After that I attended local TV shows on Teletruria, RTV38.

I also attended the program “Quel che passa il Convento” on TV2000

You can see all the episodes  on my Youtube channel.

I adore holding international cooking classes

Through Airbnb I hold inernational cooking classes with travellers.

We use my recipes to prepare and eat the dishes we’ve made together.

We have a lot of fun and I love to see their amazed and satisfied faces when the look at what they create with their own hands.

My Facebook Fan Page

Another thing I adore are the streming I organise on my Facebook Fan Page. I have fun and I try to share my knowledge with my followers.

I’m going streaming every Monday at 04:30 p.m. on the Cucina Casareccia website.

If you free, join us there! If you can’t attend the streaming you’ll find the recordings on my social networks.

A further Instagram channel

Beside my main profile on Instagram – that’s Cucina Casereccia – I also share another channel with my friend Antenori. It’s called: instaricetteconesenza.

It focuses on allergies and intolerances and there we prepare recipes with and without some ingredients.

Do you sell any gluten free, lactose free product?

Recipe’s photos before and after

To show you my growth as a food blogger and food photographer, here there is a gallery that contains the photos I published when I started my blog and all the ones that followed until the ones I took just few days ago.

All the other things…

There are a lot of other things I don’t do very often but that I willingly do to have fun! For example to attend food festivals and events in small towns to let people try my cakes.

I also have fun decorating cakes with homemade sugar paste but also other kinds of cakes like the wedding cake I prepared for my friend the day she got married.
